In consideration of which the said McCarteny binds himself to the said Kyle or his successors overseer of the poor to teach and instruct or cause to be taught or instructed the said Carlisle the art and mistery aforesaid during said term and moreover to find the said Carlisle in good and sufficient cloathing, eat drink washing and lodging fit and convenient for such apprentice and teach him to read write and common arithmetic Including the rule of three and also at the end of his service shall pay and satisfy to the said Carlisle fifteen dollars that being the freedom dues allowed by the court.
