The jurors of the Commonwealth of Virginia, in
and for t he bo dy of the county of Rockingham, and now attending said Court at its October term, 1930, upon their oaths
present that O. W. Wiseman, within one year next prior to the
finding of this indiot rnent, in said county, did unlawfully
have in his possession two gallons of (what is commonly called
home brew) ardent spirits, against the peace and dignity of the
Commonwealth of Virginia.

the Magistraite shall fix a time not less than 10
nor more than 30 days from the date of return, fo r
the hearing of said return. If no claimant appea r,
the Ardent Spirits and articles are to be forfeited
to Commonwea~th. Any person claiming any of
same must file a written claim stating particularly
the character and extent of his interest therein,
whereupon the Magistrate shall certify ,t he warrant, written claim and articles claimed, to the
Circuit or Corporation Court, as the case may b e,

I n the Circuit Court of said County:
The jurors of the Commonwealth of Virginia, in
and for the body of the county of Rockingham, a nd now attending said Court at its October term, 1930, upon their
oaths present that Harry Shuler, on or about October 3,
1930, in said county, did unlawfully have i n his possession
about two and one-half gallons of ardent s p irits, against
the peace and di gnity of t he Commonwealth of Virgi nia.
This indictment is found on the testimony of
W. E. Lucas a nd Samuel Heltzel, witnesses s worn in Court
and sent before the grand jury to give evidence.

The jurors of the Commonwealth of Virginia in and
for the body of said county of Rockingham and now attending
s aid Court at its October term, 1930, upon their oaths do
pre s ent that Frank Ritchie on or about the 27 tlfday ofSeptember,
1930, in sa id county, did unlawfully operate an automobile
while under the influence of ardent spirits, against the
peace a nd dignity of t he Commonwealth of Virginia.
This i naictment is f ound on the testimony of Howard
Higgs, Daniel Sheehan, R. H. D. Derrer, and W.R. Chapman,
