In consideration whereof the said master shall provide and procure sufficient meat, drink, washing, lodging, and apparel, fitting for such apprentice during the said term and teach the said apprentice to read the Bible well and to write a tolerable hand, to teach or cause her to be taught to knit, sew, and spin; and at the expiration of said term to pay or cause to be paid to said apprentice a spinning wheel, a Bible, and a bed.
