That the said overseer of the poor in pursuance to an order of the court of the county aforesaid of December term of 1815 doth put and bind Lydia McHenry nine years old the fourth day of November last as an apprentice to the said Jacob Rife Jr. with him after the manner of an apprentice to dwell and serve until she shall arrive to the age of eighteen years to learn the art and mystery of housewifery.
