State Normal School for Women at Harrisonburg, State Teachers College at Harrisonburg, residence hall

The residents of this room have decorated with vases, a pennant, and a lamp styled like a parasol which echoes earlier images of Normal School students on the Quad. Personal items like photographs, jewelry, and perfume sit on top of the dresser scarf on the dresser. These students have also taken care not to hang things from the wall and have them suspended from the molding, as per dormitory regulations.
